A harumph to computer troubles which forced me to restore an older version of my system to get back online. Which took away the patch download which doesnt want to come back. Trying the repair function again. Might have to uninstall and download the whole shebang again. Ouch!

And now it wont let me download the game because there isn't any installer data. As if I'm supposed to have the installer. Duh! I'm downloading the installer from you! Maybe it's time to be done with this game. Too much frustration.

you have more issues then just world of warcraft, Either you have a nasty virus in which case restore wont help you at all or theres something wrong with the operating system, in which case depending on the operating system if you have the disc and a legit key then doing a repair installation should help you out without getting rid of your data except for settings and drivers, but make sure to backup your data anyways just incase, as for wow, get it installed then burn the folder off onto 4 dvds or 2 dual layer dvds then if anything happens to it you can just copy the folder back to your comp and play.

Yeah this computer is locked in its death spiral. I'm gonna try one more time to restore it to the oldest version I can and hope that will repair whatever function I've lost that prevents the download. If that doesnt work I'm screwed until we can afford a new computer. Not good.

if you have the os disc you get reformat your commputer wiping out everything and reinstalling windows. make sure to back up your data

I didnt get a Windows disk with the laptop so I cant reload it on this machine. I didnt get one with the new computer I just bought today either, come to think of it. In any case, I hope to have the game loaded and updated by tonite.

You can go download Xp or Vista even windows 7 all versions.
if you want I can get you a link or prolly even mail ya a disc, just use the key that comes on the bottom of your laptop

it went up and down all night a few mins at a time.
I think a lot of people are going to transfer off this failing battlegroup to a new server
